A goal I set that I tried my best to achieve is actually losing weight, which was to reduce 5 kg in two months.
I set this goal right after I had finished my Spring Festival holiday when I was exposed to a variety of delicious foods. Actually, I was just a bit overweight according to our country's obesity standard. But, my situation got worse after I enjoy that tasty holiday. So, I was determined to lose 5 kg, which was neither an easy task nor a very hard one.
To achieve my goal on time, I took different approaches. I remember the most important one was doing fasting. I just ate one main meal per day. I knew this was extremely hard for me as a foodie. So, I allowed myself to have just one apple or a banana if I couldn't stand the hunger. Plus, I blocked out just 6 hours for sleep per day because I knew the more I was awake more energy I would consume.
Well, that' s really an unforgettable experience. It's tough during the process, but I felt a great sense of achievement after I eventually accomplished this goal. You know, I couldn' t believe that I made it. You know what, I was so thrilled that I even rewarded myself a cone of ice cream.
