Some people think imported food exerts positive impacts on our lives. To what extent do you agree or disagree?
(相似题目Presently, imported foods from other countries can be easily accessed, someone believes this situation's benefits outweigh its drawbacks. To what extent do you agree with this point?)
Analogous to the thriving of international trade and the trend of globalization, foods from other side of our planet can be served in great convenience with only a small piece of our daily cost and thus we may feel sensational for their exotic and outlandish flavors. However, some nice old conservatives may feel annoyed for those foreign foods ,thinking that they may just overwhelm our traditional dishes or snacks. For me , their worry may be only seemingly necessary, and the advantages of importing foods can be seen as follows:
First of all, foods can be a stroke of different cultures ,not just act as a role of fulfilling our greed for food but can be nourishing to our mind as well. For example, Chinese spring festivals were usually swarmed with dumplings, whilst recently people may feel sated to get a blue can of Denmark cookies, which is also famous for its high quality and tongue-drawing flavour. Also, we can see many sorts of Chinese foods are exporting to the rest of the world. Every country shall import foods for not only to fill their hunger but also their sense of higher quality of life, and imported foods often serve for the latter purpose.
Then, we can not ignore that imported foods can be also a spur for improving our traditional foods as well. As a case in point, we can give a long list of examples for this point, like the standardization of rice, Japanese flavours for Chinese wontons and a lot more foods have extracted benign flavouring from imported goods. In one word, home foods can squeeze the advantages of imported foods and in turn export themselves to the world with an international standard and flavor.
Therefore, we can see in this world of assimilation and cultural globalization, we can chew more from exotic foods and also ingest more from them, instead of spill them before even sensing them with our nostrils.
